Visual Comm Post 1/2: Week 6

Hooray for snow days! Well sort of. I'm going to confess, I'm a little leery of the next assignment. We are beginning to work with AutoCad. I've tried to use this program last semester when designing my art supply store. There were hardly any tutorials I could find on it, and the ones I did find were all done using metric measurements. Now, that may not seem like a big deal, but for me it was hard to wrap my brain around the tutorials because I couldn't get pass the metric numbers. Sound trivial I know, but I tend to get caught up on the slightest of details. Anyway I think I may grow to love AutoCad since I will have the opportunity to work with others and our professor is going to make tutorials for us. Hmm, now I'm not so leery...I'm actually a bit excited! :) Sometimes you just have to talk yourself through things I guess.

For our second assignment in Visual Communications we were assigned another set of codes and instructed to emphasize these codes by finding an actual site that demonstrates these codes. We had to take pictures and then use Photoshop and Illustrator to emphasize these codes. My work is presented below.
